ABOUT OPU

For over 20 years, Research To Practice has been actively involved in providing continuing medical education activities focused on the treatment and management of cancer. The centerpiece of our educational offerings has always been the Cancer Update audio series. Featuring one-on-one interviews with internationally renowned research leaders in a variety of tumor types, these series – available for medical oncologists and in many cases surgeons and oncology nurses as well – bridge the gap between research and patient care.

Recently, however we came to recognize that the Cancer Update series do not adequately meet the educational needs of an important subset of practitioners. To this end, in 2006 we launched Oncology Practice Update. Designed for nurse practitioners and physician assistants with a specialty in oncology care this new audio series provides a diverse array of perspectives and opinions with regard to cancer management specific to this unique group of clinicians.
